<aside> ⚠️ E-Sims (Like Airalo) do not work! We have not yet experienced any E-Sim working in Namibia. Although your provider will tell you it is available in Namibia, we experienced that our Nomads still had trouble as it was never working. If you do not have a SIM card slot in your phone anymore we highly recommend bringing a spare phone to use with a local SIM card. Also, local Sim Cards are cheaper than using the data from the E-Sim - as of April 2024

<aside> 📳 Recommended - Get your SIM card right at the airport! We highly recommend getting your Sim Card right at the airport. You have to register it with your passport in person. If you stay 1 month we recommend asking them to top it up with so-called “YoData” = 25 GB for about 14,50 € for 30 days.
